Roboze - Metal replacement with 3D printed composite materials of molds

The design of an aircraft structure requires continuous evaluation of its structural function. In the event of negative results in one of those evaluations, it becomes necessary to modify the design. In the manufacturing process of carbon laminates, carbon sheets are cut with the aid of molds by an operator. The manual nature of the process imposes low volumes and high production times. The lamination process involves metal molds made by using CNC machines. This results in long procurement times and slow implementation of design changes.
