PTG PA12b is a fine powder suitable for additive manufacturing technologies such as HSS, PBF, SLS, and other powder-based 3D printing methods. 

PTG PA12b high-performance polymers absorb minimal water, are resistant to polar and nonpolar solvents, have a low creep tendency and high impact strength, and may be used at temperatures ranging from extremely cold to very hot.

This powder is suited for the production of functioning prototypes, individual units, and serial components.

PTG PA12b is easy-to-process, has high process stability, has excellent powder flow properties, has excellent surface resolution and feature detail, a nice surface finish, has good energy absorption over a wide wavelength range and exhibits good mechanical properties.

Reusable

PTG PA12b exhibits the market’s best reusability rate of 100 percent of the structure support powder after a printing while circulating powder material of a refresh rate of 70/30 (used/ virgin) in comparison to common powders with refresh rates of typically 50/50 (used/virgin) while providing stable part properties and surface quality over several cycles.

PTG PA12b's material properties make it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications, including lightweight automotive or aerospace parts, medical devices with temporary body contact, and metal-free solutions for the oil and gas industry.
