The PostPro SF100 PURE is a cutting-edge vapor smoothing device developed by AMT for high-performance post-processing of 3D-printed items. With a 100-liter processing chamber, this machine is designed to handle huge volumes, making it perfect for industrial manufacturing. It leverages AMT's unique chemical vapor smoothing technology, which smoothes and seals both exterior and internal surfaces to give products injection molding-like surface finishes.
The PostPro SF100 PURE is compatible with a wide range of thermoplastic materials and can process parts made using a variety of additive manufacturing processes such as SLS, MJF, HSS, SAF™, FFF, FGF, HSE and FDM. It supports a wide range of materials, including rigid plastics like PA6, PA11, PA12, ABS, and PC, as well as elastomers like TPEs, TPUs, and PEBAs. This adaptability makes it useful for a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and consumer goods.
It is a completely automated, closed-loop system that focuses on operator safety and environmental sustainability. The system produces no waste and makes use of AMT's sustainable PostPro Pure consumable, assuring safe operation while adhering to high environmental requirements. The PostPro SF100 PURE's incorporation of Industry 4.0 automation enables it to interface effortlessly with external Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, allowing for effective workflow integration and monitoring.

The PostPro SF100 PURE has a large 100-liter processing chamber intended for high-volume output. This big chamber enables for the simultaneous processing of many parts or larger components, resulting in increased throughput and efficiency. With dimensions of 400 x 600 x 400 mm (15.7" x 23.6" x 15.7"), the system can handle a wide range of part sizes and geometries. The SF100 PURE's high-capacity architecture makes it perfect for industrial-scale applications, allowing manufacturers to expedite their post-processing workflow and lower cost-per-part for medium to large production runs.
The PostPro SF100 PURE uses AMT's unique chemical vapor smoothing technique to enhance the surface quality of 3D printed thermoplastic components. This procedure exposes additively built parts and components to precisely controlled vapor conditions, yielding smooth surfaces, enhanced mechanical performance, and sealed, sterilizable surfaces. The non-line-of-sight method can produce surface finishes with a RA of less than 1 micron, comparable to the quality of injection-molded components. The method attributes to the consistent smoothing of complex geometries and internal cavities, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in industries including medical, automotive, and consumer products.
The PostPro SF100 PURE includes a fully closed-loop vapor smoothing system that promotes operator safety and environmental sustainability. It integrates complete consumable recycling and produces zero waste, with AMT's sustainable PostPro Pure consumable providing safe and ecologically responsible operation. This fully closed-looped system provides operator safety while also aligning with modern production environmental aims. The system's green chemistry is FDA-approved, making it appropriate for use in industries with stringent regulatory requirements, such as medical device production and food contact applications.
The PostPro SF100 PURE is compatible with a wide range of materials created using various 3D printing technologies such as powder bed fusion methods (SLS, MJF, HSS, SAF™) as well as extrusion-based printing techniques (FFF, FGF, HSE, FDM). The system is compatible with rigid polymers such as PA6, PA11, PA12, ABS, PC, and PP, as well as elastomers like TPEs, TPUs, and PEBAs. Furthermore, the technology can handle composite materials containing glass, carbon, or mineral fillers, broadening its potential applications.
Designed with Industry 4.0 principles in mind, the PostPro SF100 PURE, similar to the PostPro SF50 PURE, integrates seamlessly with external Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The system has an automated recipe system and a user-friendly interface, making it suitable for operators of all skill levels. Its plug-and-play flexibility makes it more accessible and easy to utilize in current manufacturing environments, allowing for effective workflow integration and process monitoring. Users may quickly input part attributes and processing parameters, assuring consistent results across batches.
The PostPro SF series comes with a number of smart and advanced security features. The User Interface (HMI) has a 21.5-inch touch screen with 1080p Full HD quality, offering clear insight into system status and processing parameters for easy navigation and control. It has a Safety Circuit, which features a front-mounted emergency stop (E-Stop) button, allowing operators to swiftly halt operations in the event of an emergency. Furthermore, the PostPro SF series uses RFID canister recognition technology for consumable management, ensuring failsafe connections that speed up the replacement process while improving safety by eliminating wrong installations. The system also has RFID-controlled user access, which limits operation to only authorized workers, adding an extra degree of protection.
