As for any new company, it was very important for Additive Automation to become profitable and competitive in the market. But attracting new and retaining old customers is not an easy task. Since time and cost of production are the main reasons for customers when choosing companies, Additive Automation needed to ensure continuous, reliable and cost effective production. This goal was hampered by the fact, that Additive Automation lost at least 10 hours of possible running time every night. The challenge was to find a way, to keep their 3D printer running over night without the need for additional labor.
