Raise3D PPA CF Filament is a carbon fiber reinforced composite filament material based on PPA (polyphthalamide or high performance/high-temperature nylon).

Thanks to its high-performance nylon matrix, this composite filament has excellent mechanical and thermal properties compared to other nylon filaments. Thanks to the well-controlled dispersion and length distribution of chopped carbon fibers (15% by weight), PPA CF exhibits lower density, lower moisture absorption, high strength and stiffness, high wear and creep resistance, and excellent chemical and heat resistance.

It shows promise for end-use applications in the automotive, aerospace, electrical and electronics industries.

This filament is compatible with Raise3D PPA Support Filament.

Raise3D PPA GF is een glasvezelversterkt composiet filamentmateriaal op basis van PPA (polyphthalamide of high performance/high temperature nylon).

PPA onderscheidt zich van alifatische polyamiden (bijv. PA6) door een hoger smeltpunt, glasovergangstemperaturen (Tg), lagere vochtopname en grotere vormvastheid.

De opname van korte glasvezels verbetert de eigenschappen van de PPA-matrix verder, waardoor PPA GF-geprinte onderdelen veelbelovend zijn voor eindgebruikstoepassingen in de auto-, ruimtevaart-, elektrische en elektronische industrie.

Raise3D PPA (polyphthalamide) Support Filament is a breakaway support material specially designed for PPA (polyphthalamide). During the 3D printing process, it creates a stable support structure and ensures good adhesion to the surface of the printed parts. At the same time, it counteracts the tendency to warp, thus significantly improving the surface quality both at the overhangs and in the cavities of the printed parts. After the printing process is completed, the support structure can be easily removed by detaching it from the printed parts either by hand or with tools. This support material is more cost-effective compared to water-soluble support material.

This filament is compatible with Raise3D Industrial PPA CF filament and Raise3D Industrial PPA GF filament.
