Kinboshi Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of industrial machinery and components. The company wanted to accelerate product development while reducing its reliance on external suppliers for prototypes and small batches. Traditional manufacturing processes resulted in longer lead times and limited flexibility for design modifications. Additionally, there was a need to produce not only prototypes but also functional final parts in-house. Kinboshi implemented a combined 3D printing strategy using both FFF and SLS technologies. Raise3D FFF printers are used for rapid iterations and prototype development. This allows designs to be quickly modified, produced, and tested, significantly shortening development cycles.
